I updated to Windows 2004. This is a big update which means it reinstalls Windows. Everything went smoothly except a couple of things for me:

If you changed anything in the registry it will be deleted

All icons will be reset

I have a Fence on my third monitor and it keeps jumping back to monitor one.

I had Microsoft games installed and this was removed

One good thing if you have a dedicated graphics card Task manager shows it's temp.

If I find anything else I report it.

Oh, so Microsoft puts out another piece of crap then? That's putting it nicely too!

Instead of an update it re installs Windows. All your files and folders are all there. It puts a setting to go back to the previous version.

Problematic updates have become the norm for Windows10.

I'd advise putting it off as long as possible.

I read that and none of that has anything to do with my machine. I do have Bluetooth, but I don't use it.

They are not making it available to everyone at once. I got it on my stationary, but not on my laptop. There have also been mentioned if there are compatibility issues of some sort detected, the update to 2004 will not be available until fixes are in placec.

No preview here. Not to overload their servers there're sending it out little at a time. I just went to the Microsoft site and did an update from there. I've been using it all day everything is just as it was. I do have a folder called Windows.old just incase I want to go back. It's 20GB I want to delete it now, but I'll hold on to it for a week.

I also read some articles where they listed possible problems. Certain video cards, programs yadda yadda and I had none of those on my PC. The update was there so I pulled the trigger. So far no problems. 😃

The report says it had to do with Nvida drivers version 388.xx but as of now it's 445.xx. So I don't know who's using old drivers.
