I had my backup drive turned off when Windows decided to backup my computer and it gave me this error.

I turned the drive on and I backed everything up. It's just funny that the error was called "Catastrophic Failure". Why couldn't it have said "Backup Failure".

Perhaps it should have said "Jeez you're a twit. You didn't have the backup drive connected and you expect a backup to happen?  Go sit in the corner....and put on that pointy hat with the 'D' on it." ....

Lol, because probably it thought something was wrong with the backup disk. "Little did it know" (I love that phrase) that it's external storage.
